Karol Wojtyla 1920-2005

Don't know what I can say that hasn't been said before and better. He was a great Pope and an extrodinary human being. People of all races, creeds and religions feel the loss the world suffered this weekend.

But, rather than mourn his death, I think we're better off celebrating his life and remembering what he stood for.

He made it clear in no uncertain terms about his value for human life. He opposed abortion, capitol punishment, war, and euthenasia. He called on the wealthy and powerul to help the downtrodden and unfortunate. Whether or not you agreed with him, you had to acknowledge and admire his consitency and strength.

I also hear he had a great sense of humor
